Link Raw Materials to Cutting Optimizer Items
To create an order in Business Central, it is essential to link items to the Cutting Optimizer. This ensures that all product information, such as pricing and availability, is correctly displayed and can be easily included in the order. Steps to Link Items:- Choose the
icon, enter Cutting Optimizer Items, and choose the related link. - A window will open with an overview of already entered items.
- To link an item to a Cutting Optimizer item, follow these steps:
- Click on the Item No. field for the relevant item. A dropdown menu will appear.
- Enter the description or item number as known in Business Central.
- If no item number exists for this item:
- Click on New and select Item.
- A blank item card will open. Fill in the required details, such as Item Number and Description.
- Add a price by scrolling to the Prices field and entering the necessary information.
